LCU’s Audrey Robertson Earns Prestigious NCAA Elite 90 Award

PITTSBURGH, Pa. (March 24, 2025) – Audrey Robertson, the NCAA Division II women's basketball active career leader in games played (157), stole the spotlight off the court at the Championship Banquet at PNC Park. The fifth-year Lubbock Christian University guard was honored as the recipient of the prestigious Elite 90 award for the 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championships, recognizing her outstanding academic achievements.

The Elite 90 award, founded by the NCAA in 2009, recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the national championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. The Elite 90 is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA's 90 championships.

Robertson, a graduate student, not only completed her undergrad work with a 4.0 grade-point average, but currently maintains a 4.0 in Exercise Science with a Pre-Nursing emphasis. The Kerrville, Texas native has 1,396 career points, 179 steals and 143 three-pointers over her LCU career. This season, Robertson averages 11.6 points and 4.8 rebounds and claimed All-Conference honors and was part of the Lone Star Conference's All-Academic Team.

LCU's only prior recipient of the honor is Allison Szabo, who was recognized at the 2016 Division II women's basketball national championship game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Robertson's honor is the program's first as members of the LSC, as she is the 21st LSC student-athlete to receive the honor (second in women's basketball, joining West Texas A&M's Reagan Haynes from the 2016-17 season).

Eligible student-athletes for the Elite 90 award are sophomores or above who have participated in their sport for at least two years with their school.
