FORT MEYERS, Florida (March 16, 2026) - Lubbock Christian senior forward Amondo Miller Jr. was named to the 2026 Bevo Francis Top 25 Watch List, Small College Basketball announced on Sunday. The award is presented annually to the player who has had the finest overall season within small college basketball.

The Top-50 list includes some of the top player from NCAA Division II and III, NAIA Division I and II, the USCAA and NCCAA. This is the 10th season for Small College Basketball to present the prestigious award, although a winner was not named in 2021. The Bevo Francis Awards Committee, which is made up of 20 coaches, will consider season statistics, individual achievements, awards, personal character and team achievements when they eventually select a winner.

In his senior season, Miller scored 672 points, averaging 21 points per game, both of which are LCU single-season records. He was named the Lone Star Conference Player of the Year and to the All-Conference First Team. He was also a First Team All-Region selection and the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association South Central Region Player of the Year. 

Miller shot 50.8 percent from the field and pulled down 269 rebounds, averaging 8.4 boards per contest. He added in 98 assists, 44 steals and 14 blocks. Three times he was named the LSC Offensive Player of the Week, and he was also named the Tournament MVP at the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic. 

On April 2nd, the finalists of this year's award will be announced, followed by the Bevo Francis Award winner being crowned on April 7th.

Lubbock Christian finished the season 27-6, matching the program record for wins that was set in 2022. The finished tied for second in the Lone Star Conference and made the NCAA Tournament for the eighth time in program history and sixth-straight season.
