KANSAS CITY, Missouri (March 23, 2026) - Lubbock Christian University men's basketball players
Amondo Miller Jr. and
Antonio Pusateri were recognized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches on Monday, with Miller named to the All-District First Team and Pusateri to the All-District Second Team.
The All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division II.
This is the first time multiple Chaps have been recognized on NABC All-District Teams since 2022, when both Parker Hicks and Lloyd Daniels were first team selections.
Miller was also recognized on the All-Region First Team by the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association and was the South Central Region Player of the Year. He is the Lone Star Conference Player of the Year and an All-Conference First Team selection as well. As a senior, the Littleton, Colorado, native averaged 21 points per game, scoring 672 total, both of which set new Lubbock Christian program records. Miller shot 50.8 percent from the field and pulled down 269 rebounds, averaging 8.4 boards per contest. He added in 98 assists, 44 steals and 14 blocks. Three times he was named the LSC Offensive Player of the Week, and he was also named the Tournament MVP at the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic. He is also a top-25 finalist for the Bevo Francis Award.
In his first season with the Chaps, Pusateri averaged a double-double with 16.7 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. His 21 double-doubles on the season were the second-most in all of Division II, and his 363 rebounds are the third-most by a Chap in a program history. A First Team All-Conference selection, Pusateri was named the LSC Newcomer of the Year and to the All-Defensive Team. He was recognized as the LSC Defensive Player of the Week three times during the year and the Offensive Player of the Week once. Pusateri shot 59.3 percent from the field and added in 63 assists and 37 blocks.
Lubbock Christian finished the season 27-6, matching the program record for wins that was set in 2022. The finished tied for second in the Lone Star Conference and made the NCAA Tournament for the eighth time in program history and sixth-straight season.
