All four of his home runs have come in the last six games, and he also has eight doubles on the year for a .451 slugging percentage. He has walked seven times and been hit by eight pitches for a .357 on-base percentage. The Colorado native has scored 24 times and driven in 24 runs as well.
The Chaps finished the regular season with a 31-19 record and enter the Lone Star Conference Tournament as the No. 5 seed. They will play a best-of-three series this weekend against St. Edward's at Lucian Hamilton Field in Austin, Texas. The winner will advance to the No. 1 seed UT Tyler for a double-elimination tournament to decide the champion.
