LUBBOCK, Texas (August 1, 2026) – Nominations for future classes of inductees to the Lubbock Christian University Athletic Hall of Honor open today and will be accepted through August 31, 2026.
 
"After a brief hiatus, we are excited to get back to inducting new members in to the Hall of Honor," said LCU Director of Athletics Andrew Sorrells. "Lubbock Christian has a long history of impressive athletic achievement and it is important that we continue to recognize those athletes who brought us to where we are today."
 
The LCU Athletic Hall of Honor began in 1984 with the induction of former athletic director Hughe Rhodes. The Hall of Honor exists to recognize athletes, teams, coaches and other individuals that have achieved significant honors or have made unique contributions on behalf of Lubbock Christian athletics. Requirements for nomination vary slightly depending on the category they fall under but can be found on the nomination form at lcuchaps.com/HallOfHonor.
 
All nominations are due by August 31, 2026. Honorees will be announced and inducted in the fall.
