LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK• The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals close out their home schedule Saturday hosting St. Edward's University in a match-up pitting the Heartland Conference's only two unbeaten teams in confer-ence.
• LCU enters the weekend 5-0-0 in conference play following a 2-0 conference home win over Newman.
• The Lady Chaps are 5-1-0 at home this season and 16-5-2 all-time in home games under head coach

STORY LINES• A 5-0-0 start in conference play marks the second consecutive season LCU has started 5-0-0 in con-ference. Last season, LCU opened the season 6-0-0 in conference play before falling in their final two games.
• LCU has outscored their opponents 16-4 in the first half this season. They have scored the first goal in 11 of their 13 games this season and they have won 10 of the 11 games when scoring first. They have not won a game this season when surrendering the opening goal.

Brooke Wendl leads the Heartland Conference in points (32, ranks tied for sixth nationally), points per game (2.7, ranks tied for third nationally), goals (13, ranks tied for seventh nationally), goals per game (1.1, ranks third nationally), assists (co-leading with six), assists per game (.50) and game winning goals (6, ranks tied for second nationally).

Claudia Sanchez has 10 goals on the season and joins
Brooke Wendl among players on LCU's roster with 10 or more goals. It is the first time LCU has had two players with at least 10 goals since the inaugural 2010 season. Sanchez has scored at least one goal in six consecutive games.
• LCU leads the Heartland Conference with 36 goals on the season (tied for 15th in the nation) and goals per game (2.8, which ranks tied for 12th nationally). The program single-season record for goals is 50 from the 2012 season.

Lauren Story registered her sixth shutout of the season in a win over Newman (co-leads the conference) and it was her program career-leading 13th of the season.
• With the game serving as the final home game for the Lady Chaps, it will be their Senior Day. Senior
Coree Childree is the lone senior on the LCU squad and she will be honored following the game. She has appeared in 39 games spanning four seasons and has three career goals.
SCOUTING SEU• The Hilltoppers have a record of 8-4-0 on the season and are riding a four-game win streak.
• SEU has not played since a 5-0 win Oct. 13 hosting Rogers State.
• St. Ed's is 4-1-0 on the road this season and have won their last two road games.
• The defense of SEU has only allowed seven goals this season (tied for 14th in the nation). They enter the contest with shutout wins in their last two games and with a shutout sequence of 198:50 active. They have seven shutout wins this season and have only allowed more than one goal in a game once this sea-son (3-1 loss on Sept. 21 vs. Texas Woman's).
• Although unbeaten in conference play, SEU does not have any offensive player in the top eight of conference scoring. Gracen Jacks and Lauren Heller each co-lead the team with four goals, ranking tied for ninth in the conference.
SERIES HISTORY WITH SEU• SEU leads the all-time series 1-0-0.
• The meeting is the first ever meeting between the two programs in Lubbock.
• The Hilltoppers defeated LCU 3-0 last season in the only prior meeting between the two programs (Oct. 28 in Austin, Texas).
• LCU was held to three shots in the game and none were on target.
