CHAPS FLIGHT DECK• The Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals close out their Heartland Conference schedule for the season this weekend on the road, facing Oklahoma Christian Saturday and Dallas Baptist Monday.
• Lubbock Christian heads into Saturday's contest 4-2-0 in conference (6-5-1 overall) following a 2-1 home loss Saturday to No.16 St. Edward's.
• LCU, 2-0-0 this season in conference road play,went 5-0-0 in road conference play last season and has never lost a Heartland Conference road game. They are 23-13-5 all-time in road games (7-0-0 all-time in Heartland road games).
STORY LINES• The Chaparrals are entering the weekend on a two-game conference losing streak, which is the first time ever LCU has lost consecutive games in Heartland Conference play.
• LCU is third in the Heartland Conference in goals per game with an average of 2.25 per game. The mark is the second best scoring pace in program history. The top mark was a pace of 2.48 goals per game from 2011.
• Lubbock Christian is represented with two players in the top-10 in conference scoring, as
Lennard Hansen ranks tied for sixth in scoring with 15 points (6g,3a) and
Tommy Fogarty-Cameron has 12 points (5g,2a) to rank tied for 10th.
• LCU is 4-0-0 on the season when leading at the half, but they are a combined 2-5-1 when tied or trailing at the half.
• Chap goalkeepers have combined for 4.9 saves per game this season, which could stand as a single-season program mark for saves per game (current best is 4.76 saves per game from 2010).
• When it comes to game winning goals, LCU has received game winning goals from six different individuals and no players has more than one on their resume this season.
SCOUTING OC• The Eagles enter the weekend 3-8-1 on the season and they are 2-4-0 in conference play.
• The last game for OC was a 3-0 win on the road over Rogers State University.
• OC is 2-3-1 at home this season and have not been home since a 2-0 home win over Dallas Baptist on Oct. 13.
• The last five games for OC have resulted in shutouts. Two in their favor and three resulting in loss.
• OC goalkeeper Evan Helker is second in the conference in saves per game with an average of 4.75 per game.
