LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK• The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals continue amidst an originally scheduled seven-game homestand (down to six due to the weather-cancelled contest with Midwestern State) and they have their final Heartland Conference home game, hosting Oklahoma Christian Saturday. The game, originally scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. start, has been moved to a noon start.
• LCU enters the game 5-2-3 and they are unbeaten over their past five games (4-0-1) following a 6-2 win Thursday over Rogers State.
• The Lady Chaps, 5-2-0 last season at home, are 5-0-2 this season at home. LCU is 21-6-4 all-time at home under
Alex Denning (10-3-2 all-time under Denning in conference home games) and 25-14-6 all-time overall at home.
STORY LINES• LCU has had weather impact their prior two games. They had their contest last Saturday against Texas A&M International delayed two hours and Thursday's win over Rogers State was played at Frenship High School.

Brooke Wendl produced her 13th career multi-goal game Thursday with two goals. She also added an assist to complete a five-point game. She finds herself amongst several statistical leaderboards. She enters the week leading the Heartland Conference in points (14) and shots (40), while also ranking tied for second in goals (5). She had been without a goal in seven games played prior to Thursday.
• LCU's defensive crew of
Kate O'Gara,
Kristin Fellows,
Madison Boyd and
Lois Colley have combined for six goals and four assists (16 points) over the prior four games. Boyd has three of the goals and O'Gara is coming off a three-point outing (1g,1a) Thursday.
• The Lady Chaps lead the Heartland Conference in points (73), goals (28) and assists (17). They entered the week with 56 points, ranking 50th nationally.
• How important is it for LCU to score first? They are 4-0-2 and have not lost a game when scoring first. At the same time, LCU has not lost a game when they score at least a goal in a game (5-0-3).
