LUBBOCK CHRISTIAN (1-0-0) at COLORADO CHRISTIAN (0-2-0)
Friday, September 11th - 1:30 p.m. (Central)
Lakewood Memorial (Lakewood,Colo.)

CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
•   The Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals hit the road for the first time this season, as they head to Lakewood, Colo. Friday to face Colorado Christian before closing week's play Sunday afternoon in Alamosa, Colo. against Adams State University. Both programs are members of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC).
•   The Chaps are 1-0-0 on the season, as they won their home opener 5-4 over University of the Southwest (N.M.).
•   LCU went 5-2 on the road last season (also 5-2-0 on the road all-time under head coach Lee Williams) and they are 25-14-5 all-time in road play.

STORY LINES
•   Lennard Hansen led LCU on the road last season. He recorded 17 points off seven goals and three assists in road games.
•   In the opening 5-4 victory over USW, LCU had two players with four-point performances. Hansen (1g,2a) and Mitchell Hopkins (2g) each had four-point games. The last time LCU had two players with at least four points in a game was Oct. 26, 2013 at McMurry, where Nick Gorrie and Billy Forbes completed the task.
•   Mitchell's two-goal game against USW was a career high. The sophomore had two goals his freshman season. Hansen recorded two assists, matching a program single-game record, which has been completed now 21 times.
•   Through the first weekend of play, LCU is the only Heartland Conference program with a perfect record and they are one of three programs without a loss, joining Dallas Baptist (1-0-1) and St. Edward's (1-0-1).
•   LCU's season opening win improved them to 5-1-0 in season openers and 5-0-0 in home openers. The win was the 50th regular season victory in program history.
•   With Kwame Adu-Wusu recording the game winning goal Saturday, LCU has had 10 different players record game winning goals since last season and no player has at least two over that span.

SCOUTING CCU
•   The Cougars are 0-2-0 to start the season after being out-scored a combined 15-0 this past weekend in Florida, falling 10-0 to defending national champions Lynn and following with a 5-0 loss to Palm Beach Atlantic.
•   CCU is coming off a 5-14-0 season a year ago. They went 1-6-0 at home.  The meeting with LCU marks their home opener.
•   Colorado Christian is a NCAA Div. II member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC).
•   The Cougars are preseason picked eighth in the RMAC.
•   Adam Hern is the only returning player on the roster that recorded a goal last season (1 goal).

SERIES HISTORY WITH CCU
•   No prior meetings between the two programs.
•   LCU is 1-0-0 all-time against RMAC programs. The win was LCU's first of the season in 2014 and the first win for LCU head coach Lee Williams. It was over Colorado State - Pueblo.
