LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK• The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals complete their first road trip of the young season Saturday in Alamosa, Colo. at Adams State.
• LCU enters the game 1-1-1 on the season and winless in their last two games following a 5-0 shutout loss Thursday in Gunnison, Colo. to Western State Colorado to open their road trip.
• The Lady Chaps, who went 6-4-0 on the road last season, are 0-1-0 on the road this season and are 15-13-0 all-time on the road under head coach

STORY LINES• LCU suffered their first loss of the season Thursday at WSCU. The last time LCU was shutout was on Sept. 14 of last season, when they were ironically shutout by WSCU at home 1-0, which also marked their first loss of the season.
• Falling 5-0, the five-goal deficit was their biggest since a 5-0 home shutout loss to Dallas Baptist on Nov. 2, 2013. That game also marks the last time LCU had allowed at least five goals.
• The road shutout was the ninth time LCU has been shutout on the road in program history and the first since Oct. 28, 2013 at St. Edward's.
• In their sixth year of existence, LCU has never started the season 1-1-1.
• Seeking to end a trend, LCU has lost four straight non-conference road games dating back to last season (against non-Heartland Conference teams). They have allowed at least four goals in their last three straight.
• LCU is 2-5-0 since 2012 in games following being shutout.
SCOUTING ASU• The Grizzlies are off to a 2-0-1 start on the season. They are coming off a 1-0 win Tuesday over Eastern New Mexico.
• ASU went 5-10-3 last season. At home, they went 2-3-2 last season. The 2-0-1 record this season has all been at home to match last season's win total at home.
• Hope Cruz leads the Grizzlies with three of the team's four goals scored on the season. She has a goal in each game on the season.
• Adams State is a member of the RMAC and the conference selected them 10th in the preseason polls.
