LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK• The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals close out a three-game road trip Tuesday in Commerce, Texas facing Texas A&M-Commerce before returning home Friday to host East Central (Okla.).
• LCU enters the week 1-1-2 after playing a pair of games in Colorado this past week. The Lady Chaps fell 5-0 at Western State Colorado, but rebounded with a 2-2 tie at Adams State.
• The Lady Chaps, who went 6-4-0 on the road last season, are 0-1-1 on the road this season and are 15-13-1 all-time on the road under head coach
Alex Denning. Overall all-time, LCU is 25-23-3 on the road.
STORY LINES• LCU has already matched a single season program record the number of games resulting in a draw with two. The Lady Chaps are 2-6-8 all-time in overtime games and Saturday's 2-2 draw at Adams State was the first tie on the road under Denning.

Brooke Wendl finds herself amongst several statistical leaderboards. She enters the week leading the Heartland Conference in points (12), goals (5), shots (19) and is tied for first in assists (2) and game winning goals (1). Nationally, Wendl ranks tied for eighth in goals and tied for ninth in points.

Lauren Story's consecutive streak of games starting in goal ended at 40, as
Leslie Castellano made her first start in goal for LCU. She produced four saves off six shots on goal, including a save in overtime.
• The Lady Chaps lead the Heartland Conference in points (29), goals (11) and assists (7). Their 11 goals ranks tied for 26th nationally.
• Seeking to end a trend, LCU is winless in five straight non-conference road games (0-4-1) dating back to last season (against non-Heartland Conference teams).
• LCU leads the Heartland Conference with an average of 5.5 corner kicks a games. They have had at least fiver corners in each game this season. Both of LCU's goals in Saturday's 2-2 draw were results of corner kicks.
SCOUTING TAMUC• The Lions are 3-1-0 this season and have won their last two contests. They are coming in following a 2-1 win over Emporia State.
• TAMUC is 2-0-0 at home this season and they went 8-3-0 at home last season.
• A&M-Commerce is a NCAA Div. II program based in the Lone Star Conference. They were preseason picked second in the conference behind Angelo State.
• York, England native Vicky Back leads the Lions this season with 11 points off five goals and an assist. Her and LCU's
Brooke Wendl are two of four players nationally this season to record four-goal games.
• A&M-Commerce ranks 17th nationally with 13 goals scored this season. Ten of the goals came in a 10-0 win over Okla. Baptist.
