LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
•  The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals close out a four-game road trip Saturday. The game marks the second time LCU has faced StMU this season.
•  LCU enters the game 7-2-3 overall and 5-2-2 in conference play. LCU sits tied for third place (with St. Mary's) in the conference standings with 17 standing points. The Lady Chaps are unbeaten in their prior seven games (4-0-3).
•  LCU, who went 1-6-1 on the road last season (four road goals), is 2-2-2 on the road this season. LCU is 18-21-3 all-time on the road under head coach Alex Denning. Overall all-time, LCU is 28-31-5 on the road.
 
STORY LINES
•   The Lady Chaps are 22-8-2 all-time in Heartland Conference games, 9-6-1 all-time in Heartland Conference road games.
•   LCU is coming off a 5-0 win Thursday at TAMIU, which was a program single-game scoring record for a conference road game. The result also was their seventh shutout win of the season, which matches a program single-season mark completed twice prior (most recently in 2014). Goalkeeper Sarah Palmer, who made two saves during the shutout, matched Lauren Story's 2014 single season program record for shutouts by a goalkeeper.
•   Haley Knesek ranks 17th nationally in points per game with a mark of 1.92. Her conference leading 23 points ranks 15th nationally and seven assists ranks 10th nationally.
•   The Lady Chaps have 30 assists as a team this season, which ranks sixth in the nation in total assists. They average 2.5 per game, which ranks sixth nationally.  
•   LCU's 7.5 points per game ranks 13th nationally and second in the conference. Their 30 goals ranks 16th nationally.
•   The Lady Chaps have out-shot their opponents 159-37 in the first half this season and 13-1 in the second overtime this season.
 
SCOUTING StMU
•   The Rattlers are coming off a 10-7-0 season in 2015, going 5-3-0 in conference play and 6-3-0 at home. StMU is coming off a 4-1 home win Thursday over Oklahoma Christian. The win put them at 4-2-1 at home this season. They are also 5-2-2 in conference play, tied for third with LCU in the conference standings.
•   Prior to their four goals Thursday, StMU went a span of seven consecutive games in which they were held with less than two goals (shutout in four of them).
•   The Heartland Conference preseason poll has StMU picked to finish fourth in the conference.
•   StMU leads the conference and ranks 11th nationally with 32 goals.
•   Heather Dawson co-leads the conference and is tied for 30th nationally with three game winning goals.
 
SERIES HISTORY WITH StMU
• LCU leads the all-time series 3-2-1.
• On Sept. 22, LCU produced a program single game record 57 shots in the game and out-shot StMU 57-5 (shots on goal was 16-3), but the game resulted in a 1-1 tie.
• LCU is unbeaten in four prior meetings (3-0-1), including a 3-1 win on Oct. 13, 2014, which was LCU's last visit to the Alamo City.
