LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
•  The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals plays their final home game of the season, facing the Hilltoppers for a second time this season.
•  LCU enters the game 7-2-5 overall and 5-2-4 in conference play. LCU sits in fourth place in the conference standings with 19 standing points. The Lady Chaps are unbeaten in their prior nine games (4-0-5).
•  LCU, who went 7-0-2 at home last season, is 5-0-2 at home this season and are unbeaten in their last 16 home games. LCU is 28-6-6 all-time at home under Alex Denning (15-3-5 all-time under Denning in conference home games) and 32-14-8 all-time overall at home.
 
STORY LINES
•   The Lady Chaps are 22-8-4 all-time in Heartland Conference games, 14-2-2 all-time in Heartland Conference home games.
•   Thursday, LCU played to a 1-1 draw hosting Dallas Baptist, setting a single-season program record for draws with five. Five of LCU's last nine games have resulted in a tie.
•   Haley Knesek ranks 23rd nationally in points per game with a mark of 1.79. Her conference leading 25 points ranks 23rd nationally and seven assists ranks 23rd nationally.
•   The Lady Chaps have 32 assists as a team this season, which ranks eighth in the nation in total assists. They average 2.3 per game, which ranks ninth nationally.  
•   LCU's 6.9 points per game ranks 21st nationally and second in the conference. Their 32 goals ranks 29th nationally.
•   The Lady Chaps have out-shot their opponents 185-44 in the first half this season and 15-2 in the second overtime period this season.
 
SCOUTING SEU
•   The Hilltoppers are coming off a 14-6-1 season, going 6-2-0 in conference play and 6-2-0 in road play. SEU is coming off a 3-1 road win at Oklahoma Christian and are unbeaten in their last five road games (4-0-1).
•   SEU carries a No.8 national ranking. LCU has not faced a ranked team this season and are 0-9-0 all-time against ranked foes. The No.8 ranking carried by SEU matches the best ranking LCU has faced (faced No.8 Oklahoma City on Oct. 17, 2012). LCU is 0-1-0 against top-10 programs all-time and 0-4-0 all-time against ranked foes under head coach Alex Denning's guidance. This game marks the best ranking a program has carried into LCU Soccer Field and LCU has not hosted a ranked program since Oct. 22, 2011 (vs. No.25 Southern Nazarene). LCU is 0-3-0 all-time at home against ranked programs.
•   The Heartland Conference preseason poll has SEU picked to finish second in the conference. A win Saturday clinches the regular season title for SEU.
•   With five players with at least three assists on the season, SEU averages 2.4 assists per game, which has them ranked eighth nationally in the category. They rank 11th in total assists with 31.
•   The Hilltoppers have only allowed six goals this season. A rate of 0.46 goals allowed per game, which ranks 15th nationally. Goalkeeper Lorrie Santoy ranks 13th nationally with a conference best 0.43 GAA.
 
SERIES HISTORY WITH SEU
• SEU leads the all-time series 5-0-0.
• The two squads met earlier this season (Sept. 15 in Austin, Texas), with LCU falling 3-1.
• LCU has only two goals all-time against SEU.
• Of the five prior all-time meetings (four in regular season play and one in the Heartland Conference Tournament) a meeting on Oct. 25, 2014 stands as the only prior meeting in Lubbock (SEU won 2-1).
