No. 10 Lubbock Christian University and No.9 Angelo State University complete a three-game non-conference series Sunday at Hays Field.  LCU is seeking a series sweep after claiming a 7-6 win Friday and a 6-1 one-hit victory Saturday over the Rams. LCU has won nine consecutive games, while ASU has dropped their last two games.

BIG AL
LCU is expected to go with Albert Aveytia on the mound. The Prairie View A&M transfer has been used as a starter and closer in two prior appearances this season. His start was on Feb. 9 in a 13-3 win over West Texas A&M in which he went five innings and allowed three runs off nine hits. He registered a save on Feb. 13 vs. New Mexico Highlands. He is 1-0 with a 4.50 ERA and has five strikeouts (1 walk) in six innings pitched.

A LITTLE GRAY
The Rams did not indicate who their Sunday starting pitcher would be. Graylon Brown (1-1, 0.79 ERA), who was their middle-game starter in their opening series against Texas A&M International (nine inning game) has not started in this series. The Rams also have Joey Wise (1-0, 5.63 ERA), who has a pair of starts on the season.

Here are some additional series notables:

- LCU has out-hit ASU 21-11 in the series, with ASU held to one extra-base hit in the series (double).
- Hunter McFall leads LCU in the series with four hits (4-for-8).
- Brent Stewart and McFall each co-lead with four RBI in the series to lead the Chaps.
- Sam Kohler leads ASU in the series with four hits (4-for-6).
- ASU is 1-for-20 (.050) at the plate with two-out situations in the series (LCU hitting .318 in the same scenario).

- ASU has hit into 32 ground-outs in the series and the two teams have combined for 53 ground-outs.
- Both teams have been able to get the lead-off batter aboard at least half the time in the series, as ASU has a 55% rate of getting the lead-off batter aboard and LCU has been 50%.
- The all-time series is tied 8-8 and LCU is 5-2 in Lubbock against the Rams and have won the last four games played in Lubbock in the series.
