RUBBER MATCHLubbock Christian University and St. Mary's completes a three-game series Saturday with a rubber match to decide their Heartland Conference series. The two teams split Friday's doubleheader with LCU winning the opener 6-1, but falling in the nightcap 1-0.

Brent Bezio on the mound Saturday. Bezio's last three appearances have come on the road. He will be making his eighth appearance and fourth start of the season. His last appearance was in Wichita, Kan. against Newman, where he went 5.1 innings and allowed six runs (five earned) off 10 hits. He ended up with no decision, as LCU won 10-6 in extra innings.
SNAKE BITESThe Rattlers are expected to start Victor Garza, who leads their team in ERA (2.19). The redshirt sophomore is 2-0 on the season and making his third start of the season. His last start came against Southwest (N.M.) and he allowed one run off five hits in six innings of work. He is the first right handed pitcher to make a start against the Chaps in the series.
SERIES NOTABLES- StMU was 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts in the second game Friday. LCU had only allowed nine stolen bases on the season heading into the day.

Tony Reyes led LCU in the doubleheader going 4-for-7 on the day from the plate for LCU.
