LCU enters 22-9 overall and they are 14-3 against non-conference NCAA Div. II programs. The Chaparrals are 15-3 at home and 11-1 in non-conference home games.

BEZIO'S BUMPBrent Bezio will get the start on the mound for LCU. The right handed junior has made 10 appearances, with five coming in a starting role. Bezio is 4-1 with a 5.95 ERA and made his last start on Mar. 25 against Arkansas-Fort Smith lasting only 2.1 innings in his first loss of the season. He allowed a run off two hits in a relief outing (his last outing) lasting two innings Saturday at St. Edward's.

ON THEIR HILLBlake Welch is the Aggies expected starter on the mound. The freshman from Frisco, Texas has made six appearances, with his last two coming in a starting role. Welch (1-0) went without a decision in a start on Mar. 26 at Angelo State. He went 4.1 innings and allowed six runs off six hits (three earned runs) in the appearance.
