JUNCTION BOYS
Lubbock Christian University shocked many in Grand Junction Colo. knocking off NCAA Div. II South Central Regional host and top-seeded No.2 Colorado Mesa 8-6 Thursday in the tournament's opening game. The game was LCU's first NCAA postseason game in program history. They take a 1-0 tournament record into Friday's game, facing West Texas A&M, who is 0-1 after a 4-1 loss to Angelo State. The game is an elimination game for West Texas A&M.

IF LCU WINS
If LCU wins, West Texas A&M will be eliminated and LCU would advance to Saturday's 1 p.m. (Central) game to face the winner of the game between St. Edward's and Angelo State.

IF LCU LOSES
If the Chaps fall, it would mark their first loss of the double elimination tournament (LCU is not eliminated with a loss). It would also mean the tournament would change to use an alternate bracket released by the tournament committee.

STREAKS
The Chaps head into Friday with Brandon Rix and Brendan McCarthy each co-leading leading the team with a six-game hit streak... Jaime Bustamante enters reaching safely in 18 consecutive games and 14 straight non-conference games.

SERIES NOTABLES WITH WT
