THE CLASH
Lubbock Christian University and Angelo State University are the only unbeaten teams at the NCAA Division II Baseball South Central Region Tournament and they meet Saturday afternoon. Each team is 2-0 in the tournament, with LCU registering wins over top-seeded Colorado Mesa and fourth seeded West Texas A&M, and ASU collecting victories over West Texas A&M and two-seed St. Edward's. Colorado Mesa and West Texas A&M have each been eliminated from the tournament.

IF LCU WINS
If LCU wins, they move into Sunday's championship game at 1 p.m. (Central). In the championship, LCU would only have to win once, while their opponent would have to defeat the Chaps twice if they were to claim the tournament title.

IF LCU LOSES
If the Chaps fall, it would mark their first loss of the double elimination tournament (LCU is not eliminated with a loss). The Chaps would then have to play at 8 p.m. (Central) Friday night against the winner of the contest featuring St. Edward's and Texas A&M-Kingsville.

STREAKS
The Chaps head into Saturday with Brendan McCarthy leading the team with a seven-game hit streak... Jaime Bustamante enters reaching safely in 19 consecutive games and 15 straight non-conference games.
