LCU Closing Out Long Four-Game Road Trip Back Where It Started

CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
•   LCU goes for their first win of the season, as they remain on the road for their final game of a four-game road trip to open the season.
•   The Chaparrals are 0-3-0 on the season after suffering a 2-0 loss Thursday at Southwestern Christian.
•   LCU, who went 6-3-0 last season in road competition, is 0-3-0 in road play this season and are 31-20-5 all-time in road play.
 
STORY LINES
•   The Chaps are seeking a win to provide first-year head coach Paul Gilbert his first coaching victory of the season.
•   The Chaps have been held to one goal in three games on the season. Mickey Brunton has LCU's lone goal and he completed the task last Sunday at CSU-Pueblo for his third career goal. All three of his goals have come on the road.  
•   Lubbock Christian is seeking to end a three-game losing streak. The Chaps have never started a season 0-3-0.
•   This season mark's LCU's fourth season as members of the Heartland Conference and second season with conference and NCAA postseason eligibility. LCU is preseason picked ninth in the Heartland Conference.
•   LCU has 22 shots and 10 shots on goal this season. Brunton has seven of the shots and three of the shots on goal. Cody Graves is the only other Chap with more than one shot on goal (2).
•   Andres Ramirez is the only Chap (non-goalkeeper) that has played all 270 minutes of the Chaps season.
 
SCOUTING ASU
•   The Grizzlies are coming off a 2-13-2 mark last season in which they finished 1-7-2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
•   ASU, who went 0-7-1 last season at home, is 1-0-0 at home this season. They defeated Texas A&M International 2-1 on Sept. 2.
•   The RMAC has ASU preseason picked ninth in the conference preseason poll.
•   Symon Fabbricatore leads ASU with seven points off three goals and one assist.  
•   Their 3-0-0 start has ASU off to their best start in program history. Helping man the ship is Brett Bentley, in his first season as the Grizzlies head coach after serving as the Chaps assistant coach.
 
SERIES HISTORY WITH ASU
•   This meeting marks the third all-time meeting between the two teams, with LCU entering with a 1-0-1 all-time advantage.
•   The prior meeting was in Alamosa, Colo. on Sept. 13, 2015, with LCU claiming a 2-1 win.
•   LCU is 3-2-0 all-time against RMAC programs.
