LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
• The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals soccer team will return home for their final home series of this season. LCU will begin with a Heartland Conference bout against Rogers State University Thursday prior to facing Newman Saturday. Kickoff for Thursday is scheduled for 3 p.m. at LCU Soccer Field.
• The Lady Chaps are riding a two-match losing streak in which they were shutout 3-0 on both occasions.
• Lubbock Christian has outscored opponents by an 11-2 margin at home this season. Their two goals allowed came in a 2-1 loss against Dallas Baptist.

STORY LINES
• Head coach Alex Denning and his squad are currently sitting in the Heartland's fifth-place position with 19 conference points. A pair of wins this weekend would catapult the Lady Chaparrals into the top-four teams, ensuring a berth in the Heartland Conference Tournament. Losing just one game on Thursday or Friday would leave the Lady Chap's future in the hands of Rogers State and Newman.
• The LCU women are 4-1-1 when playing at home this season with their lone loss coming against DBU (Sept. 16).
• Hannah Wise has marked nine shutouts on the season, an LCU program single season record. Wise ranks first in the conference (19th nationally) in goalie minutes played (1,504:03). The freshman has produced 46 saves, while allowing 14 goals on the season.
• Lubbock Christian has tallied their 22 goals on the season from 10 different players. Senior Claudia Sanchez leads the LCU squad with four goals on 35 shots attempted.
• The Lady Chaps have never lost at home to the Hillcats. Of Lubbock Christian's four home matches in the series, LCU stands 3-0-1.

SCOUTING RSU
• Rogers State stands eighth in the South-Central Region according to the latest United Soccer Coaches poll.
• The Hillcats have overpowered teams this season on the offensive end averaging three goals per game and combining for 48 goals as a team, a feat that ranks sixth in the nation.
• Daisy Cardona ranks tied for third in the Heartland for points (23) and tied for second in goals scored (10). Cardona's six game-winning goals lists her eighth nationally in the category.
• Keeper Taylor Sargent has captured a conference leading .882 save percentage. The RSU goalkeeper has posted nine clean sheets on the season while registering 60 saves and allowing eight goals.
• RSU has won their last three consecutive contests and five of their past six matches. The Hillcats have marked a 4-2-0 road record this season.

SERIES HISTORY WITH RSU
The meeting between the squads will be the 10th overall in a series that stretches back to the 2010 season. The Lady Chaps hold a 6-2-1 overall record over the Hillcats and have won the past six consecutive contests in the rivalry. Most recently, LCU topped Rogers State 1-0 in Claremore, Okla. earlier this season (Sept. 30).
