Lubbock Christian University and CSU-Pueblo close out a four-game series with a nine-inning contest scheduled for a 1 p.m. first pitch at Hays Field. CSU-P leads the series 3-1 and LCU needs a win Sunday to split the four-game set. LCU also looks to improve a 4-3 home record.

Crooks leads the Chaps in strikeouts with 25 strikeouts in 18.1 innings this season. He is scheduled to make his fifth appearance and fourth start of the season. His last start came 7771Tuesday in Canyon, Texas, where he earned the win over No.24 West Texs A&M. He struck out 10 batters and held the Buffs to two runs off six hits in six innings. Opponents are batting .269 against him this season.
 
CSU-P – Zach Hoffman (0-0, 5.40 ERA)
            Hoffman is slated for his second appearance of the season. He went 3.1 innings against Adams State and allowed two runs on five hits. The junior is a lefthanded pitcher.

No.12 Lubbock Christian University bounced back from a 12-5 deficit in Saturday's opener with a 7-3 win to split a doubleheader against Colorado State University - Pueblo at Hays Field.
