No.19 Lubbock Christian University wraps up their opening Heartland Conference series Friday with a single gme and a rubber match at Lubbock Christian University. LCU and OC split Friday's doubleheader. LCU had their six-game overall and five-game road win streak come to an end with their loss in game-two of the series.

PROJECTED STARTING PITCHERS
 
LCU – Russell Reber (4-0, 3.22 ERA)
Reber leads LCU in wins (4) and registered the win in his last two starts, with his last start coming in San Antonio, Texas against St. Mary's. He went eight innings and garnered his first complete game shutout in his LCU career. Reber has allowed two earned runs over his prior 15 innings pitched. Last season, he went five innings at Oklahoma Christian (Apr. 30, 2016) and allowed seven runs off six hits. He did not receive the decision in LCU's 12-11 loss.
 
OC – Kolton Brown (2-2, 5.29 ERA)
Brown's last appearance came on Mar. 1 against Central Oklahoma, allowing four runs off eight hits in four innings. He suffered the loss. Brown last faced LCU in 2015 in a relief outing (Apr. 26, 2015), registering the save with three strikeouts in 2.1 innings.
  
LOOKING BACK
Lubbock Christian University and Oklahoma Christian University each overcame three-run deficits in a Heartland Conference doubleheader split Thursday at Dobson Field, as LCU won the opener 11-5 before falling 5-4.
 
STREAKS
Tony Reyes had his career-high hit streak end at 18 games Thursday. Ryan Rogers now carries the program's active longest hit streak at five games. Chase Simmons has reached base successfully in 16 consecutive games and Brandon Rix is not far behind with a streak of 14 games reaching base successfully.
