LCU's Heartland Conference series with St. Mary's is scheduled in Lubbock, Texas at Hays Field (Mar. 24-25).

No.22 Lubbock Christian University won back-to-back extra inning affairs to sweep a non-conference doubleheader at Heartland Conference foe St. Mary's Friday at Dickson Stadium. The Chaparrals won the opener 3-2 in nine innings and followed with a 2-0 win in eight innings for their fourth straight victory.

Prior to 2014, the two teams had not met since Feb. 5, 2000. LCU is 5-8 all-time against StMU away from Hays Field (only three wins prior to this season's series getting underway). LCU went 2-2 against StMU last season, winning two of three games of a Heartland Conference series in Lubbock. St. Mary's defeated LCU at the Heartland Conference Tournament last season.
