Lady Chaps Look To End Three-Game Winless Streak

LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
• Lubbock Christian University makes an appearance in Laredo, Texas Saturday afternoon for a Heartland Conference matchup against Texas A&M International University.
• The Lubbock Christian women are looking to rebound following a 1-0 double overtime heartbreaker at St. Mary's University Thursday evening.
• The Lady Chaparrals stand 3-2-0 on the road this season and 32-33-6 all-time in road games.
 
STORY LINES
• LCU holds a .585-team goals against average, a mark that ranks third among the Heartland Conference.
• Hannah Wise has been a constant in goal for the Lady Chaps. Wise currently ranks first in the nation with 769:53 logged over eight games. She has also made 20 saves while allowing five goals.
• In five meetings with the Dustdevils, Lubbock Christian has never been scored on. Further, the Lady Chaps have never scored less than two goals throughout the series.
• LCU has scored 10 goals against Texas A&M International over the prior two meetings.
• Lubbock Christian's first 5-0 win against TAMIU in 2016 resulted in 46 shots for Lady Chaps, a feat that ranks second all-time in LCU program history.
 
SCOUTING TAMIU
• The Dustdevils rank third in the Heartland Conference averaging 4.29 points per game.
• Goalkeeper Aubrey Hall is listed 12th nationally in goalie minutes played (662:25).
• Cio Bargallo is averaging 1.29 goals per game, ranking her fifth nationally in the goals per game category. Bargallo has stacked up nine goals so far and stands second in the country for goals scored.
• Monica Castro stands fourth in the Heartland Conference with a .43 assists per game mark.
• Texas A&M International is 2-4-1 on the season and 1-3-0 in Heartland Conference play. The Dustdevils grabbed their first win at home Thursday night against Oklahoma Christian in a 2-1 performance.
 
SERIES HISTORY WITH TAMIU
The Lady Chaps own a perfect 5-0-0 record over the Dustdevils with three wins coming at LCU Soccer Field and two coming on the road. In their most recent meeting, five different Lady Chaps put their names in the scoring column in a 5-0 shutout of Texas A&M International (10/13/16).
