Lady Chaps Hosting OC in Home Finale Thursday

Win Places LCU Into Conference Tournament

LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
- Lubbock Christian University hosts Oklahoma Christian for their final home game of the season. LCU is 8-8-0 on the season, and with a 7-5-0 conference record, they can clinch a spot in the Heartland Conference Tournament with either a win, tie, or a Rogers State loss.
- LCU enters the game following a 2-0 home loss Saturday to St. Edward's, which ended their four-game win streak and was their first regulation loss in a seven-game span.
- The Lady Chaps are closing their home schedule, where they are 5-4 this season. LCU went 4-2-2 at home last season and have not won six games at home in a single season since going 7-0-2 at home in 2015. 
 
STORY LINES
- LCU's largest offensive output of the season came on Oct. 6 in the previous meeting of the season between LCU and OC, as LCU scored six goals in the game. Allison Scott had a six-point performance with two goals and two assists, and Makenna Pate also provided a pair of goals. 
- The Lady Chaparrals rank 55th nationally and second in the conference in assists (25) and 62nd nationally in assists per game (1.56). Haley Knesek is the team's leader in assists with five, which ranks tied for third in the conference behind a pair of Newman players leading the conference with six.
- McKenna Pate leads LCU overall in goals (7) and goals in conference play (6). Three of her seven goals have come at home.
 
SCOUTING OC
- Oklahoma Christian aims to end a two-game losing streak, entering with a 1-14-0 overall record and a 1-11-0 mark in conference. Their lone win of the season came on Oct. 13 with a 2-1 win at Texas A&M International. They are coming off a 2-16-0 record in 2017.
- The Eagles have been shut out on 11 occasions including their last two games. They lost 3-0 Saturday to Dallas Baptist in a home match played at South Lakes Soccer Field on the southwest outskirts of Oklahoma City due to weather.
- OC has combined for four goals this season and all four have been tallied by four different individuals.
- Addison Milner has been peppered in goal this season. The Lady Eagles goalkeeper leads the conference in saves (102, 20th nationally) and saves per game (6.8, 30th nationally). The team ranks 18th nationally with 8.0 saves per game.
- OC is tied for last in NCAA Div. II in points per game (0.67) and scoring per game (0.27).
 
SERIES HISTORY WITH OC
The Lubbock Christian women hold a 9-0-1 record in the all-time rivalry against Oklahoma Christian. In their previous meeting, the Lady Chaps blanked the Eagles 6-0 at OC (Oct. 6). Of their nine victories in the series, LCU has won in shutout fashion on eight occasions.
