FIVE FACTS ABOUT DCC
- DCC is 1-5 this season and is subject to classifying Monday's game as an exhibition game (LCU claims it as a regular season game regardless). Their 1-4 mark does not include a 116-84 loss on Nov. 13 at Oklahoma Christian, which DCC claimed as an exhibition game.
- The Crusaders went 18-9 last season, going 4-5 on the road and 0-2 against NCAA programs.
- Dallas Christian competes as a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association member (NCCAA). They claimed fifth place last season in NCCAA National Tournament.
- DCC has four players averaging double figures this season, including Hunter Bennett, who is averaging 18.2 points per contest. He averaged 13.2 points last season.
- The Crusaders are coming off a 96-76 loss Friday to Southwestern Christian (NAIA program based in Bethany, Okla.), in a game the two teams combined for 58 free-throws. DCC, shooting 29.2% from the field in the contest, was led by a 20-point effort from Davonte Brownlee.

THE SERIES AGAINST DCC
LCU holds a 3-0 all-time series advantage with DCC. The three prior meetings came between a span from 2007 – 2010 and all have been played in Lubbock.

PRIOR MEETING WITH DCC
Nov. 13, 2010 (Lubbock, Texas) - LCU: 83 - DCC: 65
Lubbock Christian University out-scored Dallas Christian College 22-9 over the final 5:43 and four players posted double figures offensively to lead the Chaparrals to an 83-65 win over the Crusaders inside Rip Griffin Center.

The Chaparrals controlled most of the game, leading 42-24 at the half and 45-26 in the second half, but DCC stormed back.  The Crusaders hit a trio of three-pointers with two by John Burnett to spark a 17-0 run, cutting the LCU lead to 45-43 five minutes into the second half.  The Chaps responded with a 12-2 run, but DCC would not go away. A 14-6 run for the Crusaders placed the DCC deficit at 63-59 with five minutes remaining, and that is when Al Duvall connected with a three-point shot to help LCU close out the game with the big run.

The Chaparrals had four players complete double figures in scoring, led by 19 points from Matt Read.  Rashad Sample, who had 11 points in the second half, finished with 17 points for LCU. Kenny Hewitt finished with 14 points and Douglas Williams registered 13 for the Chaps.  Russ Permenter just missed a double-double with eight points, 11 rebounds and three blocks.  Isaac Gonzalez led DCC with 17 points and Burnett finished with 14 points in the losing effort.

Lubbock Christian shot over 50% from the field, going 31-of-61 (50.8%).  They out-rebounded DCC 44-28.
