Lady Chaps Hit The Road For Final Non-Conference Match

LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
- Lubbock Christian University women's soccer will hit the road for their first away game of the 2018 season. The Lady Chaparrals will travel to Weatherford, Okla. for a 1 p.m. kickoff against Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
- Heading into the match, LCU holds a 1-2-0 record following a double overtime win against University of Texas – Permian Basin Thursday afternoon.
- All three of the Lubbock Christian goals, this season, have come from different players.
 
STORY LINES
- Since the inaugural 2010 season, the LCU women's program stands 2-5-1 when playing in their first road game of the season.
- The Lady Chaps are on a three-game scoring streak after closing the 2017 season without a goal over their final four contests.
- Saturday's matchup against the Bulldogs will also serve as the final non-conference contest of the season.
- Of their 70 shots throughout their first three games, 42 have come within the second period of play.
- Lubbock Christian's offense is targeting the frame for an average of six shots on goal per game.
 
SCOUTING SWOSU
- The Bulldogs have registered seven goals this season. Five of their seven goals came in a shutout victory over Oklahoma Christian.
- Alimata Rabo leads the SWOSU roster with three goals and two assists to her name.
- Steffi Silvera is the only keeper on the Southwestern Oklahoma State staff to log playing time. Silvera has converted 16 saves and holds a .762 save percentage.
- SWOSU closed out the 2017 campaign making an appearance in the Central Regional Final against eventual national champions Central Missouri University.
- Southwestern Oklahoma State was preseason picked to win the Great American Conference after receiving five first place votes.
 
SERIES HISTORY WITH SWOSU
Saturday's game marks the first ever meeting between the Lady Chaparrals and the Bulldogs.
