LADY CHAP HEADERS

  • Freshman Celia Duarte leads the team in goals scored with three after scoring a pair on Friday. She has also assisted two scores for eight total points
  • Seven different Lady Chaps have recorded assists so far this season, with four of them tallying at least two

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
  • The Lady Chaps will be looking for their third straight win in Sunday's game. The last time they were winners in three straight was in the midst of a four-game win streak from 10/6 through 10/18 last season
  • Duarte ranks second in the Lone Star Conference with her eight points, just one behind the league's leader Valerie Solis
  • Goalkeeper Hannah Wise currently sits at 120 saves for her career and now needs just seven more to set a new LCU career record in that category
  • LCU opponents have scored five goals this season, but recorded assists on just two of those
  • The Lady Chaps have drawn 16 corners to just 13 by their opponents, including 10 to 1 in their last game against Wayland Baptist

SCOUTING UTPB
  • Falcons are 0-2 so far this season with losses against Colorado Mesa and Texas A&M International
  • UTPB has scored two goals so far this season, with Kessie Stocker and Deonna Green each finding the back of the net once
  • Marlise Bond has done all of the goalkeeping in 2019, making 15 saves while allowing six goals
  • UTPB canceled games with Wayland Baptist and the University of the Southwest last weekend
  • The Falcons were formerly members of the Heartland Conference with LCU, but joined the Lone Star Conference beginning in 2016

THE SERIES WITH THE FALCONS
Lubbock Christian is 6-2-1 all-time against UT Permain Basin, with the first meeting between the two teams taking place in 2013. The Lady Chaps have been winners in three straight meetings, with UTPB's last win coming on October 31, 2015 in Odessa.
