She also leads the team is assists (56) and steals (52). Her 56 assists ranks fifth in the conference, with a pace of 3.3 per game (13th in the LSC), and her 52 steals leads the nation. She has 23 steals in conference play (has her with 4.6 steals per conference game), with a career-high eight steals on Jan. 2 at Texas A&M International. The 52 steals also has her with 281 career steals, which is the second active leading mark in career steals in NCAA Division II (second highest mark in program history).
- > Ashton Duncan leads LCU with 43 three-pointers, averaging 2.53 per game (fourth in the conference). The 43 three-pointers ranks 11th in the nation and leads the LSC (Megan Voit of Mary leads the nation with 57). Duncan, who surpassed 900 career points Saturday at UT Tyler, is second on the team averaging 11.1 points per game. She is six three-pointers away from her 235th three-pointer, which will place her third in program history and passing Sierra Lovorn (Wilcox), who had 234 three-pointers from 2005-2009. Duncan's 229 career three-pointers ranks 15th actively in NCAA Division II for career three-pointers.
- > The Lady Chaps have claimed the Lone Star Conference Defensive Player of the Week honor in four of the eight weeks the award has been issued. Allie Schulte has received the honor twice, with teammates Grace Foster and Juliana Robertson also receiving the award. Overall for Offensive and Defensive, LCU has claimed five of the 16 honors the LSC has issued this season (four defensive and one offensive).
- > Laynee Burr, who has two performances of at least 18 points this season, is averaging 8.2 points per game. A member of the DII CCA Tip-Off Classic at the Trailhead All-Tournament Team selection, Burr enters Thursday's play 15th in the conference in assists with 42 on the season.
- > LCU opened the season making their first 14 free-throw attempts and are 78.2% (197/252) from the free-throw line, which ranks 18th nationally. From their game against Tampa (Nov. 7) to their game at Colorado Christian (Nov.12), in which they made 13 consecutive free-throws to start the game, LCU made a sequence of 17 consecutive free-throws. They topped that mark in their opening home stand of the season, making 43 consecutive free-throws (They made 28 straight free-throws in their game against Lander as part of the sequence). Schulte, who is 23-of-23 on the season from the line in the fourth quarter of games, is 50-of-56 (89.3%) from the free-throw line on the season, which is 19th nationally.
- > Grace Foster and Juliana Robertson have provided LCU strong defensive play inside the perimeter. Robertson ranks fourth in the LSC in rebounds (123) and fourth in defensive rebounds per game (5.9). Robertson is coming off an 18-rebound performance Saturday in Tyler. Robertson's 18 rebounds were the most by a Lady Chaps member since Kellyn Schneider posted 18 rebounds on the exact date in 2015 against Rogers State. The rebound performance shared by Robertson and Schneider are the highest rebound marks by a Lady Chap since Candace Clenney had 19 against Science & Arts of Oklahoma on Feb. 23, 2006. Her rebounding efforts not only led to LCU's highest rebound margin of the season (14, with a team advantage of 39-25), but the Lady Chaps defense held UT Tyler, the nation's eighth-best shooting team, to a season-low 28.0% shooting effort. On the week, last week, Robertson averaged a double-double with 12.0 rebounds and 10.0 points per game. She posted 11 points and 6 rebounds against No.6 Texas A&M-Commerce Thursday.
