LOOKING AT TAMIU
- The Lady Chaps are a perfect 16-0 against the Dustdevils all-time. Twelve (12) of the 16 victories have come in 3-0 sweeps for LCU (seven of last eight and four straight meetings).

- TAMIU won their last match (3-0 loss hosting Eastern New Mexico) and take a 15-5 record into Saturday (they are 3-0 in home matches this season). The Dustdevils have a 6-1 mark in Lone Star Conference, which has them in third place in the standings. The Lone Star Conference Preseason Poll slated TAMIU 14th after a 4-20 record last season (4-13 in the LSC).

- The Dustdevils rank 38th nationally in kills (13.3, fourth in the LSC) and assists per set (12.3, third in the LSC). Mackenzie Catalina (3.9, third in the LSC) and Megan Menchaca (3.5, fifth in the LSC) each rank in the top-five in kills per set in the LSC. Emma Lade leads the LSC and is 10th nationally with a pace of 11.04 assists per set.

- Catalina ranks 20th nationally in attacks per set (11.1) and total attacks (813). She had three matches of at least 20 kills this season, including 25 against UT Tyler on Oct. 7. Catalina is third in the LSC in kills per set in LSC matches, with 4.15.

- Emma Lade leads the LSC in assists per set in LSC matches, as she has 11.0 per set. She has posted over 50 assists in four LSC matches this season.

LADY CHAP NOTES
- LCU is 9-13 on the season (5-6 in conference and in 10th place in the standings) and coming off a 3-0 road loss Friday in Kingsville, Texas against Texas A&M-Kingsville. The Lady Chaps fell to 1-6 in road play (all seven road games are against opponents that have combined for a 84-38 overall record and a 39-7 home record). Lily Bickley leads LCU with 48 kills on the road and in kills per set (2.18). Kayton Genenbacher averages 8.4 assists per set and Kendall Mahaney has 3.44 digs per set. Home teams are averaging 7.7 aces and 8.4 blocks per match against LCU this season.

- Lubbock Christian, 0-10 when losing the opening set of matches this season, is 7-0 when they win the third set and 2-13 when they lose the set (LCU has won two of their last five matches when losing the third set). Sticking to record trends, LCU is 7-0 when either leading in kills and 2-13 when trailing in the category. Bizarrely, LCU is 1-6 when leading in blocks in a match.

- LCU points leader Sage Chain also leads LCU ranking eighth in the LSC with a pace of 1.05 blocks per set (85 total on the season, ranking tied for second in the LSC). She has posted at least seven blocks in a match four times this season, with a high of 8.0 on Sept. 3 vs. UCCS.

- Lubbock Christian had five solo blocks on Sept. 23 against DBU. They have posted at least five solo blocks in a match three times this season, which is the most in a single season since 2019.
