Game 2
LCU Highlights:
Turning Point:
With two outs in the second inning,
Skylar Herrera was facing an 0-2 count. She would eventually see seven more pitches in the nine-pitch at-bat which resulted in a base-loaded walk to snag an RBI and prolong the inning.
Angela Donaldson, the ensuing batter, followed with a bases-loaded double to plate three runs.
How it Happened:
The game featured a lot of unconventional scoring and the scoring started in the first inning, with
Skylar Herrera earning a one of two bases loaded walks she would record in the game. UTPB matched the run in the bottom of the first inning before LCU regained the lead with a six-run second inning.
Delrosario helped score the first run of the inning with an infield RBI-single.
Tyla Lee (hit-by-pitch) and Herrera (nine-pitch walk) each reached with the bases loaded without putting a ball in play, before
Angela Donaldson belted a three-run double for a 7-1 lead.
Delrosario had her second infield single result in an RBI in the third inning for an 8-1 lead. Following a run in the bottom of the third, the Lady Chaps opened the fourth inning with Herrera and
Caroline Chilton getting hit by a pitch and scoring on a triple hit by
Kamryn Gibbs. Delrosario collected her third RBI base hit of the game with a single down the line to score Wysocki later in the inning before the Lady Chaps closed their scoring in the four-run inning with
Brooke Makemson hitting a sacrifice fly.
UTPB had a pair of singles to leadoff the bottom half of the fourth inning, which led to a run on a single hit by Valerie Gonzalez.

Wysocki stole a combined seven stolen bases on the day.
- Wysocki's stolen bases placed her with 81 career stolen bases and she became the program's career stolen base leader, passing McKinzie Clemmons, who had 78 from 2012-13.
