They come to Lubbock with a four-match win streak, which has them 14-6 on the season. They are 5-2 in LSC play (tied for fifth). They are 3-4 on the road and seeking a third consecutive road win Saturday.

- The Dustdevils are first in the LSC and 42nd nationally in opponent's hitting percentage, as they have held the opposition to an attack percentage of .149. They have held opponents to under a .100 hitting mark in five matches this season and their best allowance on the season was .276 (by Texas A&M-Kingsville on Sept. 20).

LADY CHAP NOTES
- LCU was one of 13 unbeaten teams this season before falling 3-2 Sept.14 to UT Permian Basin. The season start was their best since opening 2010 with an 8-0 record. The loss also ended an eight-match win streak if you include their season-ending win last season (their longest under head coach Keith Giboney and the longest streak since a 12-match win streak in 2018).  The Lady Chaps went into conference play with an 8-2 record on the season and their pre-conference record was their best 10-match start to their season since opening the first 10 matches of the 2014 season with a 9-1 record. They are 5-6 in LSC play (11th in the standings) and have won five of their last eight matches. They enter the contest 13-8 overall (they have already surpassed last season's 11-win season win total) following a 3-0 loss Friday to TAMUK

- Kalli Dalland had a match-high and career-high 10 blocks in Saturday's win over UT Permian Basin. The mark was the highest total in the rally scoring era by a Lady Chaps member at home and matches as the highest single-match total since 2008 by a Lady Chap (Dalland is the third Lady Chaps member to complete the task). The 10 blocks were the most by a Lady Chaps member since Christiana Tavo had 10 in Wichita, Kan. against Tarleton State on Sept. 24, 2015. Dalland had nine block-assists to match the most by a Lady Chap this season, as Lily Bickley had nine against UT Tyler Sept. 30 at home (the last time that had been completed prior to the two this season was Sept. 16, 2017).
