Thursday will be the 46
th meeting all-time between the Chaps and Mustangs. MSU has dominated the series, holding a 30-15 record over LCU. The Chaps fell 83-69 on the road against Midwestern State earlier this season (Jan. 6). LCU is 9-11 at home against MSU.

Ty Caswell's buzzer beating half-court heave went in-and-out as the Lubbock Christian University Men's Basketball team fell 74-71 to No. 4 DBU Saturday afternoon.
The Chaparrals had five players score in double figures, led by
Kurt Wegscheider,
Aaron Gonzales, and
Najeeb Muhammad who all scored 13 points.
Kendall Dow added 12 points off the bench and
Ethan Duncan dropped 11.
LCU took advantage of excellent ball movement in Saturday's game, piling up 18 assists on 27 made field goals. Wegscheider's three assists paced the Chaps and Muhammad also added three assists of his own.
Last Time Out – MSU
Quinton Johnson II's 3-pointer from the top of the key with six seconds remaining lifted Oklahoma Christian to a 62-61 win over Midwestern State Saturday afternoon at the Payne Athletic Center.
The Eagles snapped a two-game slide, but now have won four of their last six, while MSU has split its last six games, moving to 12-7 overall and 6-7 in league play.
Midwestern State junior Bakari LaStrap hit four 3-pointers to lead the Mustangs for the second consecutive game with 19 points. He also grabbed six rebounds. LaStrap has scored in
double figures in each of his last five games.
