Anna Salisbury were the Chaparral and Lady Chap selected to represent LCU, as both sprinters look to contribute to the team's success this season.
34 student athletes -- 17 men and 17 women -- were recognized by the Lone Star Conference as preseason players to watch. The indoor track season in the LSC is starting soon, with some member institutions beginning their season as early as Friday, Dec. 6.
Lubbock Christian will begin its season Jan. 17-18, as they travel across Lubbock for a meet at Texas Tech University.Â
The 2025 LSC Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held Feb. 21-22 at Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, N.M. West Texas A&M will seek to continue their dominance, as the Buffs and Lady Buffs are the four-time defending conference champion for both the men's and women's divisions.

The NCAA Division II National Championship is set for March 13-15 at Fall Creek Pavillion at Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Ind. The LSC had five teams advance to the national championship last season, both from West Texas A&M, both from Angelo State and Texas A&M - Kingsville men's. In addition, West Texas A&M had a men's individual national champion, with Florence Uwajeneza placing first in the 5000 meters event with a time of 16:05.17.
