Her 19 wins in singles ranked fourth on the squad and she went 13-4 in duals (7-3 in the No.4-singles slot). Adler was 1-0 against nationally ranked opponents.

Herath claims academic recognition while majoring in Biology, A sophomore from Kandy, Sri Lanka, Herath went 12-4 in singles and 13-14 in doubles this season. She posted an 11-8 doubles record in duals, with four wins claimed in the No.2-doubles roll. Herath closed out the season with four consecutive wins in singles to place her with a 4-3 singles record in duals. She was 2-0 in the No.1-singles spot and went 8-1 in non-duals singles competitions.

Opolska, a sophomore from Stebnyk, Ukraine, is focusing on a major in Business. On the court, she went 25-7 in singles and 25-8 in doubles. Her 25 wins in doubles led the team and her 25 wins in singles ranked second on the squad. She was 17-6 in doubles played in duals and 19-4 in singles played in duals. Opolska went 7-2 in singles played in duals.

Trochez led LCU's eligible nominees with a 4.00 GPA, as her focus is Business. The Tomball, Texas native became a two-time Lone Star Conference Sportsmanship Team selection, and earned a spot on the LSC's All-Academic Team this season. She went 14-14 on the season in singles and 4-3 in No.1-singles matches. In doubles, the sophomore went 19-10, going 14-7 in duals (7-3 in LSC doubles). Andrea De Bernardo partnered with Trochez for all of her 29 doubles matches and they are nationally ranked No.49.

The four are the first Academic All-District recipients in the women's tennis program's history, as they did not have any eligible nominees last season (their first season competing at the NCAA Division II level). The CSC changed their protocols of the award last season, and programs are unable to have more than four recipients. The quartet of honors allowed LCU to reach the maximum. They will now be nominated to receive Academic All-America accolades.

In order to be selected to an academic all-district team, a student-athlete must demonstrate success on the playing field and in the classroom, with academic and athletic achievements taken into consideration. The student-athlete must possess a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and be at least a sophomore in academic standing.
