LUBBOCK, Texas (February 8, 2025) – Riding a six-game winning streak, including three consecutive shutout victories, Lubbock Christian University continues play in the Lubbock Sports College Invitational, hosting Adams State at 2 p.m. and Sul Ross State at 4 p.m. Saturday at Maner Park.

LCU and ASU Series Snapshot
- This contest will mark the fourth all-time meeting between LCU and Adams State as LCU has a 3-0 all-time series advantage.
- Thursday, LCU defeated Adams State 16-0, highlighted by a 13-run third inning and 17 total hits. Yaya Kaaialii (3-for-3, 2 RBI) and Bailey Hughes (HR, 3 RBI) led the offense, while Ashlinn Hamilton and Berkley Browder combined for a two-hit shutout.
- Prior to this season, the previous meeting was part of the 2023 Lubbock Sports collegiate Invitational, as LCU defeated ASU 10-2 (Feb. 10, 2023) and 9-1 (Feb. 11, 2023) in five innings.
- Ashlinn Hamilton, who has appeared in all three all-time meetings against ASU, appeared in both 2023 contests, going 5.0 innings (complete game) in the 10-2 win and allowed two runs while striking out six batters. She pitched a scoreless inning in relief to close the 9-1 win.

- The meeting will be the first of five this season, as SRSU is the newest LSC member. They will play four conference contests, with doubleheaders scheduled in Lubbock and Alpine, Texas.
