KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 25, 2025) – Lubbock Christian redshirt sophomore guard Ethan Duncan was named an All-American by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, the association announced on Tuesday.
 
The NABC recognized 16 NCAA Division II athletes from across the nation on their All-America team, which is voted on by NABC member coaches across D-II. Duncan is the only Lone Star Conference player to be recognized this season.
 
Duncan is the second LCU All-American in the NCAA Division II era, joining forward Parker Hicks, who was named an NABC All-American in both 2021 and 2022.
 
The Lubbock native has already been named to both the NABC All-District and D2CCA All-Region Teams, the All-Lone Star Conference First Team and was recognized as the LSC Player of the Year.
 
Duncan had a stellar second season at LCU, averaging 15.9 points per game on 46.1 percent shooting. He was lethal from behind the arc, leading the LSC with 90 made. He shot 40.9 percent on three-pointers and 90.8 percent from the free throw line. He added in 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
 
He reached double-figures 25 times this season, including 10 games with 20+ points. He led LCU in scoring 15 times.
 
Duncan helped lead the Chaps to a 25-9 overall record and an 18-4 showing in conference play. They finished second in the LSC and won the league's West Division. LCU made it all the way to the LSC Tournament Championship, thanks in large part to Duncan's career-high 37 points in the semifinal against West Texas A&M. The Chaps made the NCAA Tournament for the fifth consecutive season.
