Saturday, November 1st – 5 p.m.

LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
•    The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals close out their 2014 season with the final two games of the season: Saturday in Oklahoma City (facing Oklahoma Christian) and Monday in Dallas (facing Dallas Baptist).
•    LCU enters the weekend 5-1-0 in conference play following a 2-1 conference home loss to St. Edward's Saturday. They played a non-conference game Tuesday in Alva, Okla. and fell 4-2 to Northwestern Oklahoma State. The loss places their overall record at 10-5-0 and they have fallen in their last two overall contests.
•    The Lady Chaps are 5-3-0 on the road this season and 14-11-0 all-time under head coach Alex Denning. LCU went 4-4-0 last season on the road and they are 24-21-2 all-time on the road.

STORY LINES
•   With LCU's 4-2 loss at Northwestern Oklahoma State, LCU closed their non-conference slate with a 5-4-0 record. It marks the second consecutive season in which they completed that mark.
•    LCU has outscored their opponents 16-6 in the first half this season. They did however allow two first half goals at NWOSU. LCU has scored the first goal in 11 of their 15 games this season and they have won 10 of the 11 games when scoring first. They have not won a game this season when surrendering the opening goal (0-4-0).
•   Brooke Wendl leads the Heartland Conference in points (33, ranks tied for 10th nationally), points per game (2.4, ranks fifth nationally), goals (13, ranks tied for 15th nationally), goals per game (0.9, ranks 11th nationally) and game winning goals (6, ranks tied for fourth nationally).
•     The 2014 Capital One Academic All-District ® Women's Soccer Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, were released to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. Lubbock Christian University was represented with Kristin Fellows and Brooke Wendl each receiving the honor in District Six of NCAA Division II.

Fellows, a junior from Lubbock, Texas, holds a 3.86 GPA in Accounting & Finance. The defender has four points this season off a goal and two assists. She has appeared in all 14 games this season and helps spearhead a defense that ranks third in the Heartland Conference in goals allowed per game (1.27). Wendl has produced a 3.68 GPA while majoring in Middle School Education. The pair of Lady Chaps join Kaylyn Settle (2011) as the only recipients of the honor in program history.
•    LCU leads the Heartland Conference with 39 goals on the season (tied for 21st in the nation) and goals per game (2.6, which ranks tied for 16th nationally). The program single-season record for goals is 50 from the 2012 season.
•    If LCU can close out the season with a pair of wins it will match their program single season wins record (12 from 2012). LCU is averaging 2.1 assists per game and their single season record is 2.3 from 2012.  The Lady Chaps averaged 7.56 points per game that season and this season, they enter the weekend averaging 7.3 points per game. LCU has allowed 19 goals through 15 games, with their program single season low sitting at 21 from 2013. Lauren Story has 10 goalkeeping wins this season, which is a win away from setting the single season individual mark. She also sits a shutout away from sitting her own single-season mark of seven from last season.

SCOUTING OC
•    The Lady Eagles have had a tough season, with an overall mark of 1-13-2 and winless (0-13-2) in their last 15 games. The one win was via forfeit to open the season.
•    OC has only produced 11 goals this season. Only two teams in NCAA Div. II have scored less.
•    Oklahoma Christian is 1-6-1 at home this season.
•    Goalkeeper Lindsey Williams has 130 saves on the season, which ranks eighth in all of Division II.
•    Despite lacking a true win, OC has been able to score at least a goal in five of their last six games.

SERIES HISTORY WITH OC
•    LCU leads the all-time series 3-0-0.
•    The meeting is the second meeting in Oklahoma City. The last, a cold and wet frigid night, was on Oct. 27, 2011, with LCU winning 2-0.
•    Last season, LCU won 1-0 in overtime on Nov. 4 in Lubbock.
•    LCU has outscored OC 6-0 in the all-time series, as all three LCU wins have come via shutout.
•    OC and LCU were former Sooner Athletic Conference foes.
