LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK• The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals completed a six-game homestand and now play five of their final six games on the road. They head to Wichita, Kan. Thursday for their first road game since Sept. 15, facing Newman, before quickly returning home Saturday to host Northwestern Oklahoma State for a non-conference tilt and their home finale.
• LCU enters the week 6-2-3 and they are unbeaten over their past six games (5-0-1) following a 5-1 win Saturday over Oklahoma Christian.
• The Lady Chaps, who went 6-4-0 on the road last season, are 0-2-1 on the road this season and are 15-14-1 all-time on the road under head coach
Alex Denning. Overall all-time, LCU is 25-24-3 on the road. LCU, 5-2-0 last season at home, are 6-0-2 this season at home. LCU is 22-6-4 all-time at home under
Alex Denning (11-3-2 all-time under Denning in conference home games) and 26-14-6 all-time overall at home.
STORY LINES• LCU capitalized on their six-game homestand, which concluded Saturday, going 5-0-1. They now will try to take that momentum on the road, where they are winless (0-3-1) over their prior four road games dating back to last year.
• The Heartland Conference announced their weekly honors in women's soccer and LCU's
Brooke Wendl was named Offensive Player of the Week. Wendl, a senior forward, led LCU to a 2-0-0 week with a trio of goals and an assist for a seven-point week. She produced her 13th career multi-goal game in a 6-2 win over Rogers State with a pair of goals and an assist for five points. She followed with a goal against Oklahoma Christian to help LCU to a 5-1 win. The Plano, Texas native had the game winning goal in each game. The honor for Wendl is her second of the season and the fifth in her career. She is the only two-time recipient of the honor this season. Wendl currently leads the conference in points (21… next closest is 12), goals (8), shots (55), co-leads in game winning goals (3) and ranks tied for second in assists (5). She ranks 35th nationally in points and 32nd in assists.
• LCU's past two wins came while facing a 1-0 deficit in each game. The two games are LCU's only wins when allowing the game's opening goal (2-2-1). LCU has not lost when scoring the first goal (4-0-2).
• The Lady Chaps lead the Heartland Conference in points (86), goals (33) and in assists (20). Their 86 points ranks 20th nationally. They also rank 16th nationally in goals per game (3) and 19th in goals and points per game (7.8).
• Senior Day for LCU is scheduled for Saturday against NWOSU. LCU's senior class of

SCOUTING NU• The Jets are 3-5-2 overall and 0-1-1 in conference this season and are 1-3-1 in their last five games after a 3-0 loss to St. Edward's.
• NU is 2-2-2 at home this season. They went 3-5-2 at home last season.
• Newman is preseason picked No.6 in the Heartland Conference after coming off a 5-9-2 season (1-6-1 in conference) a year ago.
• Morgan Foster leads the Jets with 12 points off a team-leading six goals.
• Foster is behind Wendl ranking second in the conference in goals (6) and points (12).
SERIES HISTORY WITH NU• LCU leads the all-time series 2-0-0.
