LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK• The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals continue amidst an originally scheduled seven-game homestand (down to six due to the weather-cancelled contest with Midwestern State) and they have their final weekend of Heartland Conference home games, hosting Rogers State Thursday and Oklahoma Christian Saturday.
• LCU enters the week 4-2-3 and they are winless over their past four games (3-0-1) following a 4-0 win Saturday over Texas A&M International.
• The Lady Chaps, 5-2-0 last season at home, are 4-0-2 this season at home. LCU is 20-6-4 all-time at home under
Alex Denning (9-3-2 all-time under Denning in conference home games) and 24-14-6 all-time overall at home.
STORY LINES• The 4-0 LCU shutout win Saturday over TAMIU was LCU's 29th shutout in program history, but the first of the season and the first in the career for LCU goalkeeper
Leslie Castellano. They don't get any easier for Castellano, who did not have to make a save in the win (0 shots faced).

Brooke Wendl finds herself amongst several statistical leaderboards. She enters the week leading the Heartland Conference in points (14) and shots (40), while also ranking tied for second in goals (5). She has been able to lead the conference in points despite not scoring a goal in the past seven games and two points over the prior five games.
• LCU's defensive crew of
Kate O'Gara,
Kristin Fellows,
Madison Boyd and
Lois Colley have combined for four goals and two assists (10 points) over the prior three games. Boyd has two of the goals and Colley has a goal and an assist in the span. They also played a defensive part of not allowing a shot on goal and assisting in the shutout over TAMIU.
• The Lady Chaps lead the Heartland Conference in points (56), goals (22) and tied for second in assists (12). Their 56 points ranks 50th nationally.
