LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK• The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals finally return home, where they will be for a while, as they open a seven-game home stand Friday hosting East Central (Okla.).
• LCU enters the game 1-1-2 and seeking to end a four-game winless streak (0-2-2) after falling 4-0 at Texas A&M-Commerce to end a three-game road trip.
• The Lady Chaps, 5-2-0 last season at home, are 1-0-1 this season at home. LCU is 17-6-3 all-time at home under
Alex Denning (10-3-1 all-time under Denning in non-conference home games) and 21-14-5 all-time overall at home.
STORY LINES• LCU seeks to rebound after a 4-0 road loss at A&M-Commerce. The road shutout marked the 10th time LCU had been shutout on the road in program history and the second this season. They opened the road trip with a 5-0 loss at Western State (Colo.) on Sept. 10. There are several similarities between the two shutouts. At Western State, LCU allowed a goal in the 1:40 into the game and 1:36 into the second half. At TAMUC, LCU allowed a goal in 2:23 into the game and 1:33 into the second half. Each of LCU's season losses have been at road via shutouts.

Brooke Wendl finds herself amongst several statistical leaderboards. She entered the week leading the Heartland Conference in points (12), goals (5), shots (19) and is tied for first in assists (2) and game winning goals (1). Nationally, Wendl ranks tied for eighth in goals and tied for ninth in points.

Lauren Story's consecutive streak of games starting in goal ended at 40, as
Leslie Castellano made her first start in goal for LCU. She produced four saves off six shots on goal, including a save in overtime. Castellano followed with a start Tuesday and matched a career high with five saves in the loss.
• The Lady Chaps opened the week leading the Heartland Conference in points (29), goals (11) and assists (7). Their 11 goals ranked tied for 26th nationally.
• LCU is coming off one of the worst shooting performances in recent memory. Tuesday, the Lions out-shot LCU 18-5 in the game, which is the most an opponent has out-shot LCU since Midwestern State out-shot LCU 27-9 on Sept. 19, 2014.
• The current four-game winless streak is the longest the Lady Chaps have suffered since closing out the 2012 season 0-4-2 in a six-game winless span.
SCOUTING ECU• The Tigers are 1-4-0 this season and coming off their first win of the season (3-2 win over Rogers State).
• ECU went 7-8-3 last season. On the road, they went 1-4-3 last season. The Tigers are 0-2-0 on the road this season and have lost four consecutive road games dating back to last season.
• Megan Lantrip leads the Tigers with three points (1g,1a). The Tigers have four goals on the season with a goal from four different individuals.
• East Central is a member of the Great American Conference and (NCAA Div. II) and is preseason picked seventh in their conference.

• Milan Galloway had a two-goal performance for ECU in a 4-2 win over LCU last season (Sept. 21, 2014) in Ada, Okla. LCU received a goal from
