LUBBOCK, Texas (September 23, 2015) – The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals and Midwestern State Mustangs had their Wednesday contest cancelled due to inclement weather.  No make-up plans have been announced.
 
LCU (2-2-2) and Midwestern State (3-1-1) were originally scheduled for a 4 p.m. start at LCU Soccer Field at the conclusion of the men's soccer contest between LCU and Eastern New Mexico. Both games were moved over to Texas Tech's John Walker Soccer Complex. The men started 80 minutes late due to weather and their game was eventually ended by the officials with 8:20 to go in double overtime due to lightning and rain.
 
The Lady Chaps remain home Friday and will host Texas-Permian Basin at 3 p.m. at LCU Soccer Field.
