LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
•  The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals begin a four-game road trip Tuesday with a stop in Denton, Texas for their first ever meeting with Texas Woman's University.
•  LCU enters the game 6-2-1 overall and this game marks their second non-conference road game of the season. Their first was their 2-0 season opening win at Texas Permian Basin.
•  LCU, who went 1-6-1 on the road last season (four road goals), is 1-2-0 on the road this season. LCU is 17-21-1 all-time on the road under head coach Alex Denning. Overall all-time, LCU is 27-31-3 on the road.

STORY LINES
•   LCU is 1-0-0 this season in non-conference road games. They are winless in their last five non-conference road games (0-4-1) prior to their win at UTPB (Sept. 1 in Odessa, Texas). Overall this season, LCU is 2-0-0 in non-conference play.
•   The Lady Chaps have combined for 165 shots and 58 shots on goal in their last four games. Prior to the mark, LCU had a total of 67 shots and 31 shots on goal in their first five games combined.
•   Haley Knesek leads LCU's offense with 15 points off five goals and five assists. Her 15 points ranks second in the conference.
•   The Lady Chaps have 24 assists as a team this season, which ranks ninth in the nation in total assists. They average 2.7 per game, which ranks 19th nationally. Knesek leads the Heartland Conference and ranks tied for 23rd nationally with five assists.
•   The Heartland Conference announced their weekly honors in women's soccer and Lubbock Christian University's Kate O'Gara was named the conference's Defensive Player of the Week for games played from Sept. 26 – Oct. 2. O'Gara, a sophomore defender from Stockport, England, helped LCU to a 2-0-0 week, with wins over Newman and Rogers State.  The defender had a two-goal game, which included the game-winning goal against Rogers State. She had nine shots during the week, including five on goal. Her five shots on goal were just as many as she allowed defensively for the combined week, as LCU out-shot their opponents 62-11 (26-5 on shots on goal) for the week in a pair of shutouts. The honor is the first for O'Gara and she is LCU's second Defensive Player of the Week recipient this season. Sarah Palmer claimed the honor in the opening week of the season. O'Gara is tied for second on the team this season with nine points off three goals and three assists.
•   LCU enters the game with shutout wins in their last three consecutive games played and they have six this season. The program single season record for shutouts is seven, which has been completed twice (most recently 2014). Freshman goalkeeper Sarah Palmer is a shutout away from matching Lauren Story's 2014 single season program record for shutouts by a goalkeeper. With three consecutive games resulting in a defensive shutout, LCU has now gone a season high 304:39 without allowing a goal. The LCU program record for a shutout sequence is 378:56 (2010) and the program's goalkeeper shutout sequence record is 351:51 by Kayla Wilkinson (Palmer is also currently with a shutout sequence of 304:39).
