OPENING HEARTLAND PLAYAnother solid pitching performance by
Guillaume Blanchette capped a doubleheader split in Lubbock Christian University's Heartland Conference opening series at Newman Friday at McCarthy Field. Chaps lost the opening game 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh inning, but bounced back to win the second game 1-0. It was their first 1-0 win since the 2005 season.
