            - Last Friday, Keaton claimed the win in a start at Arizona Christian, pitching four scoreless innings. He allowed three hits and struck out five batters in the appearance. On Feb. 4, 2016, Keaton suffered his first loss of the season in a season debut against LCU, going 1.2 innings and allowing five runs off three hits.

LCU – Daniel Crooks (1-0, 6.00 ERA)
            - Making his second start of the season. He pitched last Saturday against Newman and received the win, going six innings and allowing four runs on four hits. He struck out seven batters.
 
ASU – Bailey Garcia (1-0, 0.00 ERA)
            - Last Friday, Garcia claimed a win over Providence Christian. He went four innings and did not allow a run. He struck out five batters and allowed two hits. On Feb. 4, 2016, Garcia made his 2016 debut against LCU and allowed three runs off seven hits in five innings.
 
Lubbock Christian University plays their first doubleheader of the season, hosting Adams State for a pair of games of an eventual four-game non-conference series. LCU is 5-0 this season and 1-0 at home, while ASU is 2-3 on the season.

Lubbock Christian University's Jaime Bustamante hit a walk-off solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to give LCU a 2-1 win over Adams State University in LCU's home opener at Hays Field Thursday.
