LAREDO, Texas (September 30, 2017) – It has been a tough start to the 2017 season for Lubbock Christian University and a tough eight-match road trip, which continues Saturday in Laredo, Texas facing Texas A&M International in a Heartland Conference contest. LCU looks to end a five-match losing skid for the Lady Chaps, who seek their first conference win (0-3). LCU is 3-11 overall on the season and they are 1-5 on the current road trip.

• The Lady Chaps are a perfect 11-0 against the Dustdevils all-time. Eight of those victories have come in 3-0 sweeps for LCU.
• The Dustdevils are entering the week looking to end a six-match losing streak. They are 2-14 overall and 0-2 in the Heartland Conference. They were preseason picked seventh in the conference.
• Saturday's match will mark TAMIU's first home match of the season, as they open the season with 16 matches away from home.
• TAMIU ranks second in the Heartland Conference in Aces, with 78 on the season. Yuliia Hupkovska leads TAMIU with 18 (second in HC).
• Ronnie Fountain ranks second in the HC in assists with 416 on the season.

• LCU is 1-4 in road matches this season. The Lady Chaps, 3-11 overall on the season, lone road win of the season was a 3-0 win at Texas Permian Basin on Sept. 12, which opened the eight-match road trip.

Camille Porco made her season debut for the Lady Chaps Friday in a 3-0 loss to No.15 Tarleton State and produced three kills and two blocks. Porco produced 81 blocks last season with LCU.

Lauren Zoller ranks fourth in the Heartland Conference in attacks per set with a pace of 9.3 per set.

Emily Hanaway leads LCU in the current eight-match road trip with 55 kills through six matches. She has a pace of 2.6 kills per set and has a .230 attack percentage.
