Lady Chaps OKC Bound For Meeting With Eagles

LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
- Saturday afternoon will conclude the opening half of the Heartland Conference schedule for Lubbock Christian University as they travel to Oklahoma City, Okla. to take on Oklahoma Christian.
- The Lady Chaparral offense has generated 15.82 shots per game through their opening 11 contests for an average of 1.1 goals per match.
- Though they are coming off of a loss, Lubbock Christian's defense has allowed just one goal over their past three competitions. 
 
STORY LINES
- With an 0-4-0 record away from home, LCU is still on the hunt for their first road win of the season. 
- The Lady Chaparrals are looking to avenge a 1-0 shutout loss Thursday evening to Newman University.
- Heading into the contest, Lubbock Christian holds nine points in conference standings residing just outside the bubble in the fifth-place position.
 
SCOUTING OC
- Oklahoma Christian is winless thus far this season holding an 0-10-0 record overall and 0-7-0 record in their conference schedule.
- The Eagles have been shut out on eight occasions including their most recent contest, a 1-0 road loss to Rogers State.
- Darrian Palacios and Chanie Scrivner are responsible for OC's two goals this season.
- Addison Milner has made the most of her time in the net for Oklahoma Christian leading the conference with 72 saves for a 7.2 saves per game average.
- OC's squad has been unsuccessful in their last 15 outings dating back to the 2017 season. Their last victory came in a 2-1 result over St. Mary's (Oct. 12, 2017).
 
SERIES HISTORY WITH OC
The Lubbock Christian women hold an 8-0-1 record in the all-time rivalry against Oklahoma Christian. In their most meeting, the Lady Chaps blanked the Eagles 3-0 at LCU Soccer Field (Oct. 7, 2017). Of their eight victories in the series, LCU has won in shutout fashion on seven occasions.
