LUBBOCK, Texas (August 1, 2018) – Lubbock Christian University head women's golf coach Gary Belt has announced the 2018 Fall schedule for the Lady Chaparrals. LCU will compete across four tournaments throughout the semester spanning two months. Season play will open up in September before an October conclusion in Albuquerque, N.M.
 
The Lady Chaps will tee off their season at the Farmer's Insurance Invitational hosted by Colorado State University – Pueblo beginning Sept. 3. Tournament play will be held at Pueblo Country Club in Pueblo, Colo. and will serve as a two-day event.
 
Belt and his squad will then travel to San Angelo, Texas for the Concho River Classic Sept. 17-18. Play will be hosted by Angelo State University at Bentwood Country Club.
 
LCU's women will then hit the tee box in Dallas, Texas for the DBU Women's Fall Classic Oct. 8-9. Dallas Baptist will host the tournament for the two-day affair at the Golf Club of Dallas.
 
To conclude the Fall semester, Lubbock Christian will travel to the Land of Enchantment for the Skyhawk Fall Intercollegiate to be hosted in Albuquerque, N.M. Tournament play will take place at Championship Golf Course of UNM with Fort Lewis College serving as the host institution.
 
Lubbock Christian's Lady Chaparrals are returning four student-athletes from the 2017-18 squad. After finishing last season in eighth place at the Heartland Conference Championships, LCU will look to right the ships and make a play for the Heartland title in its final year as a conference.
