- Allison Scott scored her sixth goal of the season on Thursday night, moving her into a tie for the team lead with Haley Knesek

- Lubbock Christian had been winners in three straight road games prior to Thursday's loss at Angelo State, but will look to get back above .500 in away games on Saturday
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
- Lubbock Christian had back-to-back losses to start the season, but has not lost in three straight games since 2015
- Knesek still holds the league's top spot for total points, but has seen her lead shrink. Two teammates – Allison Scott and Celia Duarte – are not far behind in a tie for third in the LSC with 15 points apiece
- LCU scored in the 15th minute of Thursday's game against Angelo State, marking the seventh time this season that they have scored that early in a contest
- The Lady Chaps have played three Saturday games so far this season, winning twice to just one loss
- Goalkeeper Hannah Wise stopped a season-high seven shots on Thursday with two goals allowed and now has a save percentage of .703
SCOUTING THE HILLTOPPERS
- St. Edward's and Lubbock Christian have played two common opponents in UT Permian Basin and Angelo State, both posting 1-1 records in those games

- Eli Chavez leads the team with points, scoring four goals and assisting four more in nine games played
- Annabel Sweeney has seen the majority of the time in goal for SEU, posting both the highest save percentage and lowest goals against average in the LSC
- Nick Cowell is the Hilltopper coach, entering into his 14th season with more than 400 wins in his career
