Â
Also setting a new program spring mark was
Keitron Boyd, who posted a time of 48.91 in the 400-meter to take sixth. Boyd's time broke the previous record of 49.11, which was set by Lloyd Benson in 1984.

Â

For the Lady Chaps, records were set in the 200-meter and the long jump. Both records were broken by LCU athletes who already held the marks, as Lubbock Christian did not have many program records for indoor track & field prior to this season.
Â
Jaliyah Jackson broke her own record in the 200-meter, where she posted a time of 25.99 to take 14

Â
Both Lubbock Christian teams will now have almost a month to prepare for the Lone Star Conference Championships, which will take place Feb. 20-21 at the Texas Tech Sports Performance Center in Lubbock, Texas.
